Happy Halloween … Halloween (or Hallowe’en … but also known as Samhain, Summer’s End, All Hallow’s Eve, Witches Night, Lamswool, and Snap-Apple), is a holiday that’s celebrated annually on the night of October 31. It originated in Ireland, and is celebrated in quite a few countries including Ireland itself, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Sweden among others. It’s celebrated in a variety of ways and activities including trick-or-treating, ghost tours, bonfires, costume parties, “haunted house” tours, carving pumpkins (Jack-o’-lanterns) and reading / watching scary stories / movies. We watched The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin today starring Vice Ganda as the title role. Other cast includes Jimmy Santos, Eddie Garcia, Derek Ramsay, Nikki Valdez, Kean Cipriano, DJ Durano, Vandolph Quizon, Carlos Agassi and a lot more. This is directed by Wenn Deramas under Star Cinema and Viva Films.
This movie is so funny. I watched Vice Ganda’s first starring movie Petrang Kabayo but I must say that Praybeyt Benjamin was funnier than Petrang Kabayo. Love Vice Ganda’s punch line ;). It’s worth it to watch and not a waste of money. By the way, Praybeyt Benjamin earns almost 29M in first day of airing, wow … congrats to all the casts 😉

Fifteen days to go my little kyla will celebrate her 4th birthday. I don’t think of a big celebration normally we just celebrate birthday during dinner time. And I just invited family member. Now, that she is attending school already for sure she will be celebrating her birthday in school. Again, it’s not a big celebration because they will just use their snacks time for her to celebrate. So, I guess 20-30 minutes only. Kyla is excited already and asked me to prepare spaghetti, chicken and cake for her classmates. Also, she wanted to give them giveaway like candies and toys.
Time flies really, I remember the first time I heard her crying. Now, she is growing so fast and learning so many things. Right now, she loves watching Disney Junior Channel. I am surprised every time she sing-along with the theme songs of the different show. If your kids love Disney Junior for sure you know about Disney Junior’s Birthday Book. They feature birthday celebrants every month and show in Youtube and TV. I wanted her to be part of this book. For sure she will be surprised seeing herself in TV. Sadly, I haven’t sent her photo because of communication error with Disney Junior. One of the mechanics to be able to participate is to send photo two (2) months before her birthday. So if her birthday is November 10, the photo should be in Disney by September 10. They replied to me after the cut off date so my surprise and gift for Kyla is impossible. Well, if next year she is still in love with Disney Junior will surely join this Disney Junior’s Birthday Book.
If you are not familiar with Disney Junior’s Birthday Book i grabbed one from Youtube. Thank you Disney Junior Asia for sharing it in Youtube.
Anyway, I think I’m a little excited here, hahah! Just can’t believe that she is turning 4 already. Time flies, huh!

Happy weekend and live healthy.
Yesterday when we started our review for her examination I noticed that there’s wrong with her. When I touched her I felt how hot she was. I don’t sleep till 3am to watch her condition. When we woke at around 6am the fever hasn’t gone. So we went on her pedia to give her the proper medication. Her doctor asked me to have laboratory test for her Urinalysis and Dengue Duo. I’m thankful because she was negative in Dengue. But she has Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) again. Her doctor gave her antibiotic and asked me to give Kyla fresh buko juice (coconut water) and give her lots of water. She started to take her antibiotic so I hope her UTI will fade as soon as possible and she will go back in school.
A urinary tract infection (UTI) is a bacterial infection that affects any part of the urinary tract. Symptoms include frequent feeling and/or need to urinate, pain during urination, and cloudy urine. The main causal agent is Escherichia coli. Although urine contains a variety of fluids, salts, and waste products, it does not usually have bacteria in it, but when bacteria get into the bladder or kidney and multiply in the urine, they may cause a UTI. It’s been a busy weekend for me. Yesterday we went to the mall to find Kyla’s costume for United Nations. Nursery will represent the country of Mexico. I found one in the mall but I don’t like the tops though the skirt is pretty nice. I went to different stores but can’t find one. So I have no choice but to visit the tailor shop. I will make a separate post about her costume after they used it.
After we went to the tailor shop we headed to Jollibee in SM City Lucena to get Kyla’s ticket for Trick or Treat. This is the second time that Kyla will join Trick or Treat in Jollibee. Anyway, early this morning we went to the beach. There is one nearby beach in our place. But we don’t go there to have some picnic or relaxation. We went there because we believe that swimming in the beach early in the morning can help the kids with their cough and colds problem. My brother, SIL and nephew of my SIL went there since Kyla wanted to go to the beach so we joined them. I think we just stayed for almost 1 hour. This is the second time that Kyla went on the beach (the first one was in Puerto Galera).
This afternoon, I made Mexico flag. It took hourssss just to finish one flag, lol. I had problem printing back to back of the flag. But after so long I made it, sigh.
We reviewed her Science subject. Their 2nd Quarterly examination will be on Tuesday so I hope she will get high scores again in all her subjects.
Till here … sorry for not updating my 5 blogs often. Kyla has so many activities for this month but I will be back on my normal routine before the end of October (that would be Kyla’s semester break). Thanks for dropping by.
For two days Kyla has no classes because of typhoon Ramon. Earlier PAGASA said that the weather tomorrow will be better. So for sure the classes will resume tomorrow. Well, I hope so because we have so many things to do. We need to get her books in school because next Tuesday is their 2nd Quarterly Examination. Aside from busy tutoring her, I need to find her costume for the United Nations. Nursery level will wear Mexican costume. And Halloween is coming so Trick or treat will not be missed. So many things to do before the school break. I think they have almost 1 week vacation.
For the month of November I’m not sure about the line up of the school activity but one thing I’m sure Kyla will celebrate her 4th birthday. Well I have to stop here. I will talk about it next time. I need to sleep because its getting late already. Thanks for dropping by!
