Disney Junior Birthday Book

As I’m always telling, time is running really fast. I can’t believe that July is already here and soon my daughter will be celebrating another year of her life. I think I am too excited for that because her 5th birthday is on November, hahah. Actually, I’m thinking already on how to make her birthday special but I’m not talking about birthday blast.

Have you heard about Disney Junior Birthday Book? It is an on-air birthday greeting filled with photos of birthday celebrants. Every month on Disney Junior, they are showing photos of children whose birthdays fall on a particular month.

Last year I was a bit late submitting her photo so this time I have to do this in advance. I really wanted her to be included to that portion. Last year, as far as I remembered, they were not accepting photos via email but the last time I checked their website, photo submission through email is already accepted. So I have no reason to forget this thing. I really wanted my daughter to be featured on Disney Junior Birthday Book; for sure she will be surprised seeing herself on television.

Here are the submission requirements if you want your child to be included on Disney Junior Birthday Book:

1) Have to be a Disney Junior subscriber.

2) They have to receive photos 2 months before child’s birthday.

3) The photo must have only the birthday celebrant, preferably in the middle of the photo.

4) The image of the child must be sharp and not out of focus.

5) The photo must be in full colour and minimum file size of 1MB

6) On a first-come-first-served basis. The first 100 selected photos may be featured on-air while the remaining photos that meet above criteria will be featured online.

Remember also your child should be 2 – 7 years old. I hope my daughter will have a chance. And if happens, it will be my gift for her 5th birthday. You can read more about Disney Junior Birthday Book on their official website.

Jake and the Neverland Pirates on Disney Junior

As I have said before my daughter loves to watch shows on Disney Junior; Jake and the Neverland Pirates is one of her favorite.

According to Wikipedia, the show revolves around a group of three children (two boys and a girl) who are pirates in NeverLand(vs. Peter Pan’s Neverland), looking for treasure. Their main obstacles are Captain HookSmee, and Tick-Tock the Crocodile from Disney’s Peter Pan franchise. Captain Hook usually sees Jake and his crew doing something fun and steals it from them, and Jake and his crew have to get it back. After they succeed, Jake and his crew count their gold doubloons (which they receive after solving each “pirate problem”).

Everyday, she always waits for this show. I allow her to watch it because I believe this show shows good traits that help my daughter to be kind, respectful and helpful.

These pictures were taken while she was watching the show. What about your kids do they have favorite tv shows?

Disney Junior – Upcoming 4th Birthday

Fifteen days to go my little kyla will celebrate her 4th birthday. I don’t think of a big celebration normally we just celebrate birthday during dinner time. And I just invited family member. Now, that she is attending school already for sure she will be celebrating her birthday in school. Again, it’s not a big celebration because they will just use their snacks time for her to celebrate. So, I guess 20-30 minutes only. Kyla is excited already and asked me to prepare spaghetti, chicken and cake for her classmates. Also, she wanted to give them giveaway like candies and toys.

Time flies really, I remember the first time I heard her crying. Now, she is growing so fast and learning so many things. Right now, she loves watching Disney Junior Channel. I am surprised every time she sing-along with the theme songs of the different show. If your kids love Disney Junior for sure you know about Disney Junior’s Birthday Book. They feature birthday celebrants every month and show in Youtube and TV. I wanted her to be part of this book. For sure she will be surprised seeing herself in TV. Sadly, I haven’t sent her photo because of communication error with Disney Junior. One of the mechanics to be able to participate is to send photo two (2) months before her birthday. So if her birthday is November 10, the photo should be in Disney by September 10. They replied to me after the cut off date so my surprise and gift for Kyla is impossible. Well, if next year she is still in love with Disney Junior will surely join this Disney Junior’s Birthday Book

If you are not familiar with Disney Junior’s Birthday Book i grabbed one from Youtube. Thank you Disney Junior Asia for sharing it in Youtube.

Anyway, I think I’m a little excited here, hahah! Just can’t believe that she is turning 4 already. Time flies, huh!
