113th Philippine Independence Day

Back again here … I’m sorry for not posting frequently. Id’ been busy with Kyla’s stuff because I said before that she will be attending her first school. So the other days were busy on buying and preparing things that she will be needed. Today she already started her first class and guess what she cried. Though I haven’t seen how she cried but the teacher told me when I asked her performance after the class.

Parents/guardian is not allowed to stay in the room 15 minutes before their time. So few minutes when I left the room Teacher said that Kyla cried. But teacher said that Kyla stopped crying after awhile. While some of her classmates were crying longer. And regards with her performance, teacher said that she was quietly sitting on her chair. And sometimes doesn’t participate in the activity. Well I told you before that she is a shy person and that’s one thing that I wanted her to overcome. Just hoping and praying for that. Well, this is just the first day of school so I hope everything will be fine and Kyla will love her new environment. By the way she showed me very good stamped on her hand. She said that it’s because she participated in art activity. Nice one Kyla more to go 🙂

Anyway, last Sunday (June 12) Philippines celebrated the 113th Independence Day. So when I saw the decoration in the mall I asked Kyla to give me a nice pose.

Souvenir photos

These photos were taken last April, if I remembered it right it was taken last 3 Day Sale in SM Mall in our place. So, while strolling at the mall we saw this mascot of Wonder Park. Kyla ran on the mascot and I saw the mascot gave something to Kyla. When I handed it, it’s a plastic with lollipop and one coloring picture of the mascot. Good thing I have the camera on me so had the chanced to take a souvenir photo.

This photo was taken outside the cinema. I don’t know why they had this decoration. But I find it nice so I asked Kyla to pose for a souvenir photo. Good thing she agreed with me. She even rode in a boat after. See the coconuts? It is one of the products in our place.

Lastly, we saw Hetty dancing in front of Jollibee store. So we headed in the store. After her dance, she started to wave goodbye but I asked the crew if I can take a souvenir photo. Good thing the crew let me take one photo. You’re lucky Kyla because the crew remembered you as one of their students in Jollibee workshop.

Happy Mother’s Day

I’m still in bed when Kyla came handing one red rose. When she’s in front of me she whispered happy mother’s day mama, I love you. What will be your reaction with all those words coming from three years old? I was surprised and really happy. I asked her where she got it and she said that Nanay (my mother) was the one who took it in the front yard. This is a simple thought but its really big one for me. I love you too Kyla. Though I’m not the good mother at all times and sometimes you received some spank from me. I know for sure that time will come that you will understand why. My love for you is always here, teary-eyed now so have to stop this. Hoping your sweetness will never end and you will grow with that attitude.

This post is also for my mother. Without you I am nothing. Thanks for your unconditional love. Kyla and I love you so much.

(Too bad I can’t upload photos of my mother and the rose it’s always gives me an error message. Maybe because of the weather now, it’s been raining since I woke up this morning and until now that it’s almost midnight.) Anyway, I will try to add some photos next time. Again, Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommies out there this is our day…and thanks for your warm greetings.

I want more Ice Cream …

Who wants ice cream? Summer is here now in the Philippines and one of the refreshing foods I want in this time is eating ice cream. Yesterday, after we attended the Sunday mass in the mall Kyla and I had a little strolled in the mall. And before going home I bought Selecta Ice Cream with four flavors. In the house we started to enjoy it, I’m glad I’m able to picture it before it becomes empty. And by the way the container of this 4 in 1 ice cream is red so i think it’s acceptable for my Ruby Tuesday.

Jollibee Kids Club – 1st day Workshop

Early this morning Kyla attended her first workshop in Jollibee SM Lucena. There are 20 Jollibee Kids Club members who attended the said event. This workshop will last for 5 days. For this day is getting to know each other. Kyla is not active when unfamiliar faces are around her. I’m glad that she participated; she is the first to introduce herself because she is the youngest in the group. I thought she will not say anything but I heard her saying in the microphone “Ako po si Kyla” (I am Kyla). After getting to know each other they watched a short video of the history of Jollibee.

Saying her name

Then games followed, one of the games is they are divided into 3 groups. Each of the kid will be given 4 straws and they will put them one by one in the jollibee glass and vice versa then they will pass the straw to the other members. Though they are not the winning group I’m glad Kyla participated again… yehey!

participating in the game

Third part is eating time. Hamburger and softdrink are given in each kid. While eating Jollibee surprised the kids. So the kids started to go and hug the bee mascot. Picture picture … then Jollibee had dance presentation of the Jollibee dance. Every kid is looking at Jollibee while performing.

After the dance presentation picture picture again with Jollibee and that’s the end of the first day of workshop. Second day would be on Wednesday I asked Kyla if she wanted to participate again and she said yes. I’m proud of you Kyla I thought we will be leaving the event shortly but you made it till the end. 🙂

RT: Cute smile and a prize

It’s Ruby Tuesday once again and its time to show or share photos with red touch. It can be big or small as long as it has red shade. I started to browse the camera to see if there is a photo with red. I’m glad that I found photos so now I’m linking it in Ruby Tuesday.

The first photo is my model hhehe, my daughter who is not always ready to smile in the camera. But in this photo she gave me a cute smile, wink! We bought this shirt when we are in Bohol, Philippines (super duper pretty place).

The next photo is the plastic of LBC. LBC is the one who delivered my prize that I won in blog contest recently.  What is the prize I got you can see it here.

These two photos are my share on Ruby Tuesday; join us by clicking the banner below.

Huge Heart in SM City Lucena

Days are passing by so quickly time again for Mellow Yellow Monday as well as Ruby Tuesday. This is the first time I actually joined the two meme in one post. So here is my chosen photo, today is the last day of love month so I want to share this photo with you all. This was taken few days ago in SM City Lucena as you can see it’s a huge heart inline with the celebration of Valentine’s Day. The girl sitting in the bench is my daughter Kyla who’s not always game to pose in camera hehe. She’s looking in somewhere while holding her hat with some red colors on it. Anyway, I hope you can see also the yellow things here.  Some of the people passing by are carrying yellow plastic. Also the paintings have yellow color. There is yellow thing at the back of the red heart I guess it’s the small booth that sells mobile cards.
