It is Tuesday once again meaning time for Ruby Tuesday. I’ve been posting about our 2 days vacation in Cebu-Bohol. So here are other photos that are part of our get away.
Philippine Taoist Temple, Inc.
This is located in the well-off village of Beverly Hills about 6 km north of downtown Cebu. It was built by Cebu’s large Chinese community in 1972, topped with pagoda-style roof.
It is said to be that this temple is the center of worship for Taoism, the religion which follows the teachings of the ancient Chinese philosopher, Lao Tze. If you climb the 99 steps to the entrance, you will be pleased with a good view of Cebu City and in the distance Mactan and Bohol islands.
When we arrived in the temple the guard is already closing the gate. The guard said it’s open till 5PM only I think we arrived at past 5. We asked the guard if he can still open it for us because we traveled via air just to visit this place but still the guard refused us. So we only had picture taking in the front of this temple, sigh!
