Yesterday when we started our review for her examination I noticed that there’s wrong with her. When I touched her I felt how hot she was. I don’t sleep till 3am to watch her condition. When we woke at around 6am the fever hasn’t gone. So we went on her pedia to give her the proper medication. Her doctor asked me to have laboratory test for her Urinalysis and Dengue Duo. I’m thankful because she was negative in Dengue. But she has Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) again. Her doctor gave her antibiotic and asked me to give Kyla fresh buko juice (coconut water) and give her lots of water. She started to take her antibiotic so I hope her UTI will fade as soon as possible and she will go back in school.
A urinary tract infection (UTI) is a bacterial infection that affects any part of the urinary tract. Symptoms include frequent feeling and/or need to urinate, pain during urination, and cloudy urine. The main causal agent is Escherichia coli. Although urine contains a variety of fluids, salts, and waste products, it does not usually have bacteria in it, but when bacteria get into the bladder or kidney and multiply in the urine, they may cause a UTI.
