Easy Chicken Sopas Cooked using Elba Induction Cooktop

Recently, my sister bought Elba induction cooktop. When I first used it, I was clueless on what to do. Good thing there is manual but sometimes it is boring to read all those pages. This is under control panel and I think it is easy to understand.

By the way, I bought JML cookware because what we have in the house is not induction ready. I always wanted to buy this kind of pot. I don’t need to use too much oil when cooking, this is one way of eating healthy.  I might write about JML cookware so I will not talk too much about this stuff.

Elbow macaroni

Chicken breasts

Evaporated milk

Salt and pepper to taste

Knorr cube

How to cook

1. Boil water in a medium pot. Add the chicken breast, cover and cook in medium heat. Add more water if needed. Separate the chicken from the water. Let the chicken cool down and then shred. Set both shredded chicken and water aside.

2. Heat oil in a pot. Sauté the garlic until it turns medium brown. Add onion and carrot. Continue to sauté for 2 to 3 minutes.

3. Add the shredded chicken. Stir and cook for 1 minute.

4. Pour the water used to boil the chicken. Add more water. Let boil.

5. Add the Knorr  Cube. Stir. Cover and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.

6. Put the elbow macaroni in the pot. Cook for 10 minutes.

7. Add the cabbage. Stir and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.  Add more water if needed.

8. Pour the evaporated milk. Stir, let boil, cover and cook for another 3 minutes

9. Add salt and pepper to taste.

10. Transfer to a serving bowl. Happy eating!

While eating, my daughter is asking me if I forgot to add hotdog. Yes, I totally forgot to add hotdog. If you could see the pic something is missing and that is hotdog heheh.
